okaloosa county sheriff's office murder suspect captured, Tyauvion Morris of crestview

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. – A Crestview man wanted in connection with a Fort Walton Beach homicide is now in custody after the U.S. Marshals Service captured him today in Opp, Alabama.

Tyauvion Morris had an active warrant by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) in connection with the shooting death of 44-year-old Nancey Schreiner.

Schreiner was a bystander who suffered a fatal wound to the chest during a shoot-out near the intersection of Marler Street and Shirley Drive on February 9, according to a press release by the OCSO.

Investigators with the OCSO recovered 73 shell casings from the scene.

The OCSO meantime continues to seek co-defendant Jacob Gabany, 19, of Crestview, according to the release.
