DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. — A road rage incident near US Highway 331 N and US Highway 90 in Walton County led to shots fired on Sunday evening.
After a hit and run at 331 N and Highway 90, a suspect driving a dark green Volkswagen Jetta fired several shots at the victim’s vehicle, according to a report by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
One bullet reportedly went through the cab of the truck nearly striking the driver
The suspect followed the victim west on Highway 90 then back east before fleeing north on US Highway 331, according to the report.

There are no injuries as a result of the shooting.
Multiple agencies took up searching for the suspect’s vehicle before the driver contacted the Sheriff’s Office.
According to the WCSO, the driver has been identified and more information will be available once the driver has been interviewed.
