The Air Force’s new 52,000 square-foot facility is designed to improve next-generation cybersecurity operations and capabilities. The range mission is to conduct critical cybersecurity assessments, test and evaluation and training in high-tech environments.

“This building has been a vision of the team for over 20 years. This is an awesome opportunity giving us a chance to rapidly and extensively expand test and evaluation,” said Col. Michael Dooley, 96th Cyber Test Group commander.

The facility will include testers from across the 96th CTG, primarily the 47th Cyberspace Test Squadron’s team of cybersecurity and cyber resiliency test professionals. It will also house the National Cyber Range’s Eglin operating site.

“With this new facility, we will continue to advance our capabilities and effectiveness, evolving with the rapidly changing environment and threats to national security,” said Dooley.
