September 21 COVID-19 report for Okaloosa, Niceville

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 4,750, three more since yesterday morning. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 649.

The total number of COVID-19 -related deaths in Okaloosa County is 102, no change.

Statewide, 1,685 new cases were reported since yesterday.

The number of cumulative hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 288, one since yesterday.

According to the state DOH, yesterday there were 201 tests returned in Okaloosa with five positives. The daily positivity rate was 2.49 percent.

Okaloosa drive-thru testing schedule for Sept. 15-24

Okaloosa’s weekly positivity rate was 6.15 percent for the week ending Saturday, Sept. 19. It was 8.3 percent for the week ending Sept. 12, and 7.33 for the week ending Sept, 5.

  • Milligan, 2, one less since yesterday
  • Cinco Bayou, 34, no change
  • Duke Field, 1, no change
  • Missing, 162, no change
