NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 563, 22 more since yesterday morning. The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Niceville and Valparaiso is 57.
Statewide, the cumulative number of confirmed cases is 132,545, an increase of 9,585 new cases since yesterday morning.

In Okaloosa, the positive testing rate over the past seven days is 8.68 percent. Free, drive-through testing in Okaloosa has been halted due to a lack of testing supplies. The scheduled testing for Destin on June 30 is canceled. Details about future testing plans with the Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County will be announced at a later date.
The number of resident hospitalizations related to coronavirus in Okaloosa is 58, no change since yesterday. Hospitalization counts include anyone who was hospitalized at some point during their illness. It does not reflect the number of people currently hospitalized.
The number of deaths in Okaloosa County remains unchanged at six.
