NICEVILLE, Fla — The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County Thursday morning totals 46, seven more than Wednesday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville is 11, an increase of one over the past 24 hours.
In Okaloosa County, the number of deaths remains at one and the number of hospitalizations has increased by one to a total of seven.
Across Florida, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases is now 8,010, up 1,055 from the Wednesday morning report, with 1,058 hospitalized, up from 890, and the number of deaths in Florida increased by 41 in the last 24 hours; the total number now is 128 dead.
On Wednesday evening, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a statewide stay-at-home order.
