Rotary Club honors Debbie Lewis for Christmas Parade work

Rotary Club Honors The Christmas Lady

Debbie Lewis, also known as The Christmas Lady, has been recognized by The Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club for her tireless work on the annual Community Christmas Parade. The club awarded Lewis a customized Christmas decoration which has Debbie’s title prominently displayed across it: The Christmas Lady.

NICEVILLE, Fla — Debbie Lewis, also known as The Christmas Lady, has been recognized by The Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club for her tireless work on the annual Community Christmas Parade.

The club awarded Lewis a customized Christmas decoration by Iron and Oak Customs. The unique decoration, a red truck carrying a fresh-cut Christmas tree, has Debbie’s title prominently displayed across it: The Christmas Lady.

Lewis is the director of the annual parade which is hosted each year by the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club.

“The Rotary Club wishes to thank Debbie for her continued efforts in making our Christmas Parade a success each year,” stated a Rotary Club press release. “Thank you, Debbie Lewis, aka The Christmas Lady, for making a difference in our community and supporting our Community Parade.”

Lewis, a Realtor with ERA American Realty, gained notoriety in Niceville and across the area for hosting “Animation in Motion,” a popular Christmas display. It was first held in 1994 and the last display was in 2016 (SEE RELATED STORY HERE).
