The 2019 Rotary Christmas Boat Parade hosted by Emerald Coast Marine will be held in Boggy Bayou on Friday, December 20, beginning at 6 p.m. It is a community service of the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club. The 2019 Bluewater Bay Marina Christmas Boat Parade and Decorating Contest will be held on Saturday, December 21, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
NICEVILLE, Fla — Niceville Christmas festivities take to the bayous with two Christmas boat parades set to mark the 2019 Christmas Holiday, one in Boggy Bayou on December 20, and the other in Rocky Bayou on December 21.
The 2019 Rotary Christmas Boat Parade hosted by Emerald Coast Marine will be held in Boggy Bayou on Friday, December 20, beginning at 6 p.m. It is a community service of the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club.
Lighted and decorated boats will circle Boggy Bayou, making for good viewing along both the Niceville and Valparaiso shorelines, especially at Lincoln and Lions parks.
Boats will cruise out of Emerald Coast Marina and travel southwest passing Lincoln Park and continuing to Tom’s Bayou where they will turn east toward Lions Park on the Niceville shoreline, and then return to the marina.
Awards and festivities will follow at the pool area of Emerald Coast Marine. Food trucks and other vendors will be on site.

The 2019 Bluewater Bay Marina Christmas Boat Parade and Decorating Contest will be held on Saturday, December 21, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Boats will leave the Bluewater Bay Marina and travel North to Nelson’s Cove, around Rocky Bayou and South to Rocky One marker, then return to Bluewater Bay Marina.
Visit the Bluewater docks early and see the boats as they leave for the boat parade.
