Help Fill The Pantries at Sharing & Caring

Once a year, US Postal Service carriers across the country pick up non-perishable food donations left in bags by customer mailboxes and deliver these donations to food pantries local to their area. Sharing and Caring of Niceville is among the food pantries which receive local donations.

Sharing and Caring of Niceville is urging residents to take part in the 2019 Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 11.

Once a year, US Postal Service carriers across the country pick up non-perishable food donations left in bags by customer mailboxes and deliver these donations to food pantries local to their area. Sharing and Caring of Niceville is among the food pantries which receive local donations.

Last year, in our community alone, 11,000 pounds of non-perishable food was donated by Niceville area residents and delivered to Sharing and Caring of Niceville.

On Saturday, the NALC, in conjunction with the US Postal Service and United Way of Okaloosa & Walton Counties, will be collecting non-perishable and non-expired food items to include quick meals like macaroni, spaghetti, soups, canned meats, peanut butter, canned juice, canned fruits, canned vegetables, baby food, cereal, etc.

A square digital ad for Midbay Veterinary Hospital with multiple dogs of different breeds, a blue veterinary cross logo, Dr. Maya Chapman’s contact information, and a “Click” button for scheduling an appointment.

To participate, just place your food donation(s) in a bag next to your mailbox early the morning of Saturday, May 11.  Your letter carrier will pick up your donations as they make their regular mail routes and then deliver them to our LOCAL FOOD BANKS.  It is an easy and convenient way to make a difference right here at home and to help families in need.

Sharing and Caring of Niceville is at 104 Bullock Blvd.
