NHS students perform at Epcot arts festival

The NHS students, along with theatre students from Fort Walton Beach and Choctaw high schools, were invited to participate in the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, a 39-day celebration of visual, culinary and performing arts from around the world.

Theatre students from Niceville High School recently traveled to The Most Magical Place On Earth where they took part in workshops and a performance.

The NHS students, along with theatre students from Fort Walton Beach and Choctaw high schools, were invited to participate in the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, a 39-day celebration of visual, culinary and performing arts from around the world.

The students attended two Disney Performing Arts Workshops, performed the opening number from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and attended a concert featuring Broadway stars Gavin Lee and Heidi Blickenstaff.

The annual festival at the Epcot Center offers artful activities for the entire family, from special entertainment and interactive workshops to immersive art experiences. The festival began on  Jan. 18 and runs through Feb. 25.
