FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The 2024 Military Family Appreciation Day, an event held to honor the service and sacrifices of local military families and veterans, is coming to Fort Walton Beach in April.

The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee has announced the 2024 Military Family Appreciation Day is on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at The Landing, located at 139 Brooks Street. There is no charge for admission.

Military Family Appreciation Day, presented by Forever Warriors, is an outdoor event that allows the community to come together to show support and gratitude for our military families.

A free kids’ play area, booths run by veteran service organizations, and live entertainment are just a few of the events’ activities and attractions.

The chamber is seeking sponsors and vendors interested in participating.

“This event is more than just a celebration; it’s a platform for local businesses and organizations to demonstrate their support for our military community,” said the chamber.

All are invited to join in this celebration and to consider sponsoring or participating in the celebration.
