2024 Emerald Coast Pride event is June 1 in Niceville

NICEVILLE, Fla.—PFLAG Niceville is holding its 2024 Emerald Coast Pride event on Saturday, June 1, at the Niceville Community Center.

The free event begins at 8:30 a.m. According to PFLAG, it features games, food trucks, face painting, music by DJ Mike Ice, a virtual silent auction, a gender-affirming clothing swap, a book swap, and more throughout the day. The activities include a morning walk along John Sims Parkway and an evening prom.

Gulf Coast Pride Choir
A performance of NW Florida’s newest LGBTQ+ choir

9:15 a.m.
Pride Inspirational Talk
PFLAG Niceville talks about why Pride is needed now more than ever

9:20 a.m.
Pride Walk
Route: From the Niceville Community Center south to John Sims Parkway, east to Juniper Avenue, and then back to the Niceville Community Center

10:15 a.m.
Movies with Pride
Screening of the Disney short, “Out”

10:30 a.m.
Open Mic
A chance for people in attendance to speak

2:00 p.m.
Daytime events conclude

6:00 p.m.– 9:30 p.m.
Pride Prom
Free, and all ages are welcome.
