The Josh the Otter Paddle Board Poker Run supports the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club’s Water Safety and Reading Literacy Program.

Josh the Baby Otter is a book that promotes and teaches water safety. The Rotary Club shares the book with children who take it home to read and share with other family members, enhancing water safety.

The event helps to purchase the books and put them in as many little hands as possible, organizers said.
