NICEVILLE, Fla. – The 2022 Geek Lights on the Corner Christmas lights and music show will benefit the Crestview Area Shelter for the Homeless, organizers have announced.
“We sponsored the homeless shelter a few seasons ago, and we are very excited to once again be a part of their mission for the coming year,” said Jeff Werner, who puts the “Geek” in Geek Lights on the Corner.
“This is such a worthy charity. The need in our community is larger than most people realize.”
“We are thrilled to be selected to be the Geek Lights’ chosen charity this year,” said Ann Sprague, Founder and Executive Director of the shelter.
“This comes at a critical time for us financially to be able to continue to feed and aid the homeless of our community.”
Behind-the-scenes preparations for this year’s show – which is Season 15 – are already underway in the form of prop repairs, song selections, and script writing, Werner said.
The primary outdoor assembly will begin in November. The first three Saturdays are Community Build Days, open to anyone wishing to help with the show.
