All area veterans are invited to free dental and medical care at PanCare Health’s clinics in Freeport on Friday, November 18 by calling (850) 880-6568. Veterans do need an appointment and are asked to bring their DD214 or other form of documentation which shows they were honorably discharged from the U.S. military.
Income status is irrelevant.
Free dental services for veterans are provided at 479 East Highway 20 in Freeport, Florida and include exams, x-rays, extractions, fillings and cleanings. Free medical services for veterans are also provided at the same location and include ear/eye exams, blood sugar, oxygen levels, blood pressure and hemoglobin screenings.
“We’re proud of our veterans,” said Mike Hill, president and chief executive officer of PanCare Health, a non-profit organization which operates Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gulf, Holmes, Liberty, Walton, and Washington Counties. “This is a good way for us to express our appreciation for all they have done to protect our country.”
