If you enjoy the spirit, the energy, and the musical power of the NHS band on Friday nights, the sound of nearly 300 musicians playing inside an auditorium will blow you away! On Saturday night, the band will perform its annual Sounds of the Stadium concert on Nov. 5, 7 p.m., at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center.

The concert includes all of the Friday night spirit tunes, drum cadences, fight songs and halftime music. The elite concert group known as the Wind Ensemble is also featured. Color guard and majorettes fill the aisles and stage, and the band surrounds the audience. It’s not only entertaining, but loud and just plain fun. This is one of the band’s favorite events all season, and their enthusiasm shows!

Sounds of the Stadium is open to the public and will last about 90 minutes. The band will welcome donations to offset the cost of using the auditorium.
