Saturday in the Park set for Sept. 12

VALPARAISO, Fla — The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida invites the community to its 2020 Saturday in the Park festival on Saturday, September 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Heritage Museum and Perrine Park in Valparaiso. Postponed from this past spring, this year’s annual event marks its 44^th year.

Saturday in the Park 2020 will feature local food and craft vendors, local car clubs, activities for kids, a fish fry, parades, and live entertainment.

The event is free to attend.

A Patriotic Dog Parade and Judging begin at 10:30 a.m. and the Children’s Patriotic Parade is at 11:30 a.m. The entry fee for each parade is $15 for non-museum members and $10 for members.

Social distancing will be in effect during the event and people in attendance will be strongly encouraged to wear masks. Sanitizing and hand-cleaning stations will be available.
