Northwest Florida State College seeks noteworthy alumni

Northwest Florida State College Distinguished Alumni Awards 2014, Niceville FL

Northwest Florida State College is accepting nominations until Feb. 1, 2017 for its 2017 Alumni Awards. This is an opportunity to honor a deserving alumnus of Okaloosa-Walton Junior College, Okaloosa-Walton Community College, Okaloosa-Walton College or NWF State College.

There are four categories of awards:

• Distinguished Alumni Award – Alumnus who is a true success story in a state or national arena.

• Against The Odds Award – Alumnus who has achieved success despite adversity.

• Rising Star Award – Alumnus who is under 40 years of age and is a success story with potential for achievement in a state or national arena.

• Hometown Hero – Alumnus who has achieved success within the college’s district and demonstrated notable community involvement.

All Alumni Award recipients will be recognized in August 2017 at the NWF State College Foundation Annual Dinner.
