NICEVILLE, FLA — NicevilleStrong, an annual prayer rally designed to unite the local community in the fight against addiction, mental health issues and violence, will be held next week at Niceville High School.

Building on the success of last year’s event, organizers aim to bring together community leaders, residents, organizations, and businesses to address growing pressures on today’s students and communities.

NicevilleStrong is open to the public and will feature music, prayer, testimonies, and speakers including pastors from local churches, school and law enforcement officials as well as families and students who will share their experiences and offer inspiration to others.
In addition, representatives from local and regional resource groups will be on-hand beginning at 5:30 p.m. to provide information to families and students in need of help. These groups include mental health and rehab organizations, student advocacy groups, support groups, and other organizations focused on breaking the cycle of negative influences.

More than 750 people attended the standing-room-only event in 2018, and more than 30 vendors were present to speak with attendees. In anticipation of increased numbers for the 2019 event, overflow traffic will be directed into the adjacent school gymnasium where the event will be simulcast via livestream.
