Closed until further notice is the Niceville Children’s Park, Community Center, Library, Senior Center and Youth Center.
The Niceville Recreation Complex on Campbell Drive as well as the Twin Oaks Soccer Complex is closed to practices and games until further notice.
On Wednesday, city leaders decided to close the entire city hall complex to public access. All services remain uninterrupted and questions and concerns will be addressed by phone. Contact information is available on the city’s website, www.niceville.org.
“We are taking the steps necessary to help keep our community and our city workers safe,” said Daniel Henkel, Mayor Pro Tem.
Henkel said the city is in close contact with the governor’s office and state health officials over updated directives and information. Other closings or actions may come soon, he said.
“Turkey Creek and Lion’s Park remain open for now, but we are monitoring the situation closely and will close those venues if warranted,” said Henkel.
