The City of Niceville will hold its 2019 municipal election on Tuesday, July 16. Registered voters living within the city limits of Niceville will decide two city council races.

Voting will take place in the council chambers at Niceville City Hall from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. City Hall is at 208 N. Partin Dr.

The City of Niceville is the only municipality in Okaloosa County which conducts its own elections. The election is not conducted by the Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections Office, nor is it held on the Okaloosa’s county-wide municipal election day held in the spring.

Voter turnout for Niceville’s city election is typically the lowest among all elections held in the county. Since 2000, the average voter turnout for elections in the City of Niceville is 5.98 percent. In 2013, the last city election held in Niceville, voter turnout was 3.5 percent.

The election is nonpartisan. For more information, call 850-279-6436 ext. 1100.
