The annual Niceville boat parade, Boggy Bayou Holiday Boat Parade, has been cancelled for 2016 but is expected to return next year, according to North Light Yacht Club, which hosts the Christmas fundraising event for Fisher House.
The Niceville boat parade was originally scheduled for December 10 and was cancelled late last month. A spokesperson from North Light Yacht Club said the cancellation was due to conflicting events and activities involving Fisher House.
Organizers expect the boat parade to return even bigger and better next year with more participants and festive holiday fun.
