NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health on Saturday reported 111 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County. There are six new cases in Niceville and Valparaiso.
The FDOH reports 462 vaccinations were administered in Okaloosa County the previous day. The cumulative number of people vaccinated in Okaloosa is 21,460. The number of people who have completed the vaccination series in Okaloosa is 12,389, according to FDOH data.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa is 18,323.
The FDOH reports the total number of people killed by COVID-19 in Okaloosa is 319, no change since the previous report.
Statewide, 7,280 new cases were reported by the FDOH. The current cumulative total is 1,863,707. The total number of Florida residents who have died from COVID-19 in the state is 29,813.
The cumulative number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 678, no change since the previous day. Currently, there are 27 COVID-19 patients in Okaloosa County hospitals.
