All are welcome to attend, watch and ask questions of our region’s blacksmiths during any Florida Artist Blacksmith Association (FABA) monthly meeting. This month’s presentation will be on setting rivets and using collars for iron joinery.

After the presentation, there will be open forge time for FABA members who are welcome to bring their own steel/projects or use what we have in the scrap buckets. After lunch, we will put “iron in the hat” for anyone to bid on. If you wish to join FABA a Family membership is only $30/year, sign up at the meeting or online at www.blacksmithing.org.

Florida Artist Blacksmith Association is a non-profit dedicated to the preservation of the noble craft of blacksmithing through teaching classes and conducting open to the public demonstrations throughout Florida. There are six chapters around the state and their events can be seen at www.Blacksmithing.Org or on Facebook look for “FABA-Florida-Artist-Blacksmith-Association”
