The 2015 Animation in Motion Christmas display will be held in the same location as last year – the old Kmart building in Niceville.

Organizer Debbie Lewis, a.k.a “The Christmas Lady,” last week announced the location had been confirmed for the 2015 Christmas season.

“We’re doing the happy dance! We received confirmation yesterday that we will be allowed to hold our 20th annual Christmas display free to the public in the old Kmart building,” Lewis posted on her Facebook page.

Opening day will be Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving.

Lewis said she is hoping to organize volunteers and get started soon.

“We are now making arrangements for our entertainment schedule this year. If anyone is interested in performing, please contact me.”

The annual Christmas display features more than 600 animated dolls in themed scenes, a Christmas Village with more than 1,000 pieces, electric trains (N-Scale, H.O. Scale, O-Scale, and G-Scale Model Trains), decorated trees and much more. Thousands visit the display each year. Admission is free.
