Zero Gravity Athletics of Niceville, an all-star cheerleading gym, is coming to the old Kmart building in Niceville’s Oak Creek Shopping Center.
The new competitive cheerleading gym is expected to open May 1, with a grand opening celebration slated for May 20.
Zero Gravity Niceville will be a 9,500-square-foot, state-of-the art cheerleading and tumbling gym with two full spring floors, tumble track and crash pit, said a company spokesperson.
The cheerleading and tumbling program is open to all girls and boys ages 5 to 18 years. Some area high school and middle school cheerleading programs are expected to utilize the facility, said the spokesperson. Zero Gravity Niceville will have six staff members.
Zero Gravity Athletics has plans to open its first competitive cheerleading facility next month in Gulf Breeze.
