VALPARAISO, Fla — The 2020 Yule of Yesteryear, the annual traditional Christmas festival sponsored by the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, will be held on Saturday, December 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Heritage Museum and Perrine Park in Valparaiso. Admission is free.
The special Holiday event features musical performances by local choirs and musicians, dancers, craft and food vendors and craft demonstrations. This year’s festival is German-themed, complete with polka music.
The Walton Guard, a local Civil War re-enactors group, will feature a historic Christmastime encampment in Perrine Park.
The Museum will be open with free admission all day long, where you will discover the rich history of Northwest Florida. Enjoy exhibits that feature the area’s first inhabitants and early industries such as fishing, boat building, turpentine production, and pioneer living.
