A Women’s Self-Defense Seminar that teaches women practical self-defense skills will be held on Saturday, June 27, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Niceville Community Center. The cost is $25.
The seminar is a fund-raiser for The City of Niceville Relay for Life Team and is being held in conjunction with the Martial Arts Combat Academy. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The seminar will be taught by Detective John D. Lee. In addition to teaching women practical, true defense skills, Lee will give instruction on your rights to protect yourself and Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law.
