Whole Foods Market, the popular organic and natural grocery chain, has announced it will open a new location just across the Mid-Bay Bridge at Destin Commons, the company’s first in Northwest Florida.
Whole Foods Market in Destin Commons will be built along Highway 98, immediately east of Bass Pro Shops. Construction will begin in 2015 and be complete in 2016.
Founded in 1980 in Austin, Texas, Whole Foods Market is the leading natural and organic food retailer. As America’s first national certified organic grocer, Whole Foods Market was named “America’s Healthiest Grocery Store” by Health magazine.
