A new, weekly farmers market is coming to the Palm Plaza in Niceville. “That Farmers’ Market at Palm Plaza” will be held every Saturday, year round, beginning on Saturday, July 30. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to Diane Kolopanas, one of the operators of the market, 15 to 20 vendors are expected to participate this Saturday.
“It’s a growing process,” she said, adding that she hopes to expand to 30-40 vendors in the future.
In addition to local, naturally grown fresh produce, vendors will offer dairy products, grass-fed beef, pork, and chicken. Other goods include gourmet popsicles, jewelry, skin and body products, handmade children’s clothing, teas and more.
Kolopanas also operates the popular farmers markets at Rosemary Beach and Grand Boulevard.
A monthly farmers market is held at One 20 A Modern Bistro in Niceville. It takes place the first Saturday of the month.
