Volunteers ready packages for deployed airmen

2nd Lt. Tina McAfee, from the 86th Fighter Weapons Squadron, folds letters at the Eglin Elementary School cafeteria during the troop care drive June 6. The Company Grade Officer’s Council collected 216 handwritten letters and drawings from Destin Elementary School students. These letters and drawings were included in the care packages along with sundry comfort items. The items were donated by the CGOC, who also hosted the event. Volunteers packed a total of 108 care packages for Eglin’s deployed.
