VALPARAISO, Fla. — Volunteers are needed this Saturday morning, September 14, at Lincoln Park to participate in a local cleanup effort organized by Ocean Hour Okaloosa.
The cleanup is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the park located at 1217 N Bayshore Drive.
Ocean Hour Okaloosa spends at least one hour every Saturday cleaning local beaches and waterways. It is asking the community to donate just one hour.
The organization will supply all necessary items, including buckets, grabbers, gloves, and trash bags. Participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen and water and wear closed-toe shoes.
The cleanup event will be canceled in case of rain or thunderstorms.
Ocean Hour Okaloosa is associated with Ocean Hour Inc., a nonprofit organization promoting environmental responsibility through regular community cleanups. For more information, visit oceanhourfl.com
