This comprehensive advisory compiles FDOT’s latest updates for Bay, Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties, ensuring you have the most up-to-date information before you hit the road.
— U.S. 98 (Panama City Beach Parkway), Resurfacing from Walton County Line to Heather Drive
Drivers will encounter nighttime intermittent lane closures from Sunday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 2, during asphalt paving activities.
— U.S. 98 Widening from Mandy Lane to east of Nautilus Street
U.S. 98 eastbound drivers will encounter intermittent lane closures between Mandy Lane and Pier Park Drive on Monday, July 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. U.S. 98 westbound drivers between Pier Park Drive and Hills Road will encounter intermittent lane closures Tuesday, July 9, through Thursday, July 11, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
— U.S. 98 (Panama City Beach Parkway) Resurfacing from Walton County Line to Heather Drive
During asphalt paving activities, drivers will encounter nighttime intermittent lane closures from Sunday, July 7, through Thursday, July 11.

Beginning the week of July 8, the U.S. 98 travel lanes between Brooks Bridge and Pier Road on Okaloosa Island will be shifted south onto temporary travel lanes. This configuration will provide space for crews to construct the new westbound Brooks Bridge structure. Two U.S. 98 travel lanes will remain open in each direction. Additionally, drivers may encounter U.S. 98 alternating lane closures between Ferry Road and Pier Road, from Monday, July 8 through Thursday, July 11, between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. for utility work and construction activities
— U.S. 98 Resurfacing from Josie Road to Florida Place Southeast
Drivers may encounter intermittent U.S. 98 lane closures between Josie Road in Mary Esther and Florida Place Southeast in Fort Walton Beach from Sunday, July 7, through Thursday, July 11, between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. for concrete work, milling, and paving operations.
— U.S. 98 Widening from Bayshore Road to Portside Drive
