Baseball Camp
Niceville, Fla — Area youngsters interested in honing their baseball skills are invited to take part in a weekly fall baseball camp hosted by the Niceville Traveling Eagles and Northwest Florida State College Baseball program.
The six-week Fall 2019 Traveling Eagles Baseball Camp begins later this month and continues through the end of October. The exact dates depend on the age group (see below).
The baseball camp will teach fundamental baseball skills and prepare players for spring play. The cost is $125 per player and includes an Eagles shirt and hat.
The 6U-11U camp is at the Northwest Florida State College Baseball field on Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Sept. 25 – October 30. The 12U-14U camp is at the Niceville Softball Complex on Sundays, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., Sept. 22 – Oct. 27.
Jimmy Optiz will instruct the 12U-14U players. NWFSC Head Baseball Coach Doug Martin is overseeing sessions for the 6U-11U players, and Raider staff and players will teach.
