The Market Shops to host 2024 Bloody Mary Festival on October 12

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. — The 2024 Bloody Mary Festival at The Market Shops is set for October 12, 2024, benefiting Habitat for Humanity – Walton County.

Powered by Step One Automotive Group, the ninth annual event will feature unlimited tastings of bloody marys crafted by top restaurants and bars in South Walton using Distillery 98’s Half Shell Vodka.

The Beach House, Big Bad Breakfast, Bitterroot, Chanticleer Eatery, Down Island Gulf Seafood Restaurant, and others have confirmed participation in the “Best Bloody Mary” competition.

Guests will vote for the People’s Choice Awards, while food critics and local celebrities will judge the “Judge’s Choice” and “Best Bloody Accoutrement” awards, with handmade trophies by Maxine Orange.

Beyond the Bloody Marys, The Market Shops’ restaurants and vendors will offer food and goods. Craft brews from Idyll Hounds Brewing Company, Palm Folly seltzer, and a Bubbly Bar courtesy of local hotels will also be available.

DJ Dad and 80s rock band Catalyst will perform, and SEC football games will stream throughout the day.

The festival’s proceeds will support Habitat for Humanity – Walton County. Teresa Jones, executive director, highlighted the event’s impact on providing affordable housing to local families, with funds contributing to the construction of seven homes this year.
