NICEVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation has announced that sidewalk construction is complete for the State Road 285 resurfacing project from John Sims Parkway to College Boulevard in Niceville.
According to the FDOT, crews constructed a new sidewalk along the west side of State Road 285, extending from Adams Street to College Boulevard. The new sidewalk is intended to increase pedestrian safety and mobility in the area.
The $4.3 million State Road 285 resurfacing project is in the final stages of construction and is estimated to be completed this month, the FDOT said.
