NICEVILLE, Fla. – The Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club is hosting its 2022 Mayor Randall Wise Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, March 18, at the Rocky Bayou Country Club in Niceville.

The shotgun start begins at 12 p.m. Check and lunch begin at 11 a.m.

The cost to participate is $450 per four-person team (corporate sponsorship; includes hole sign).

The fee for individual players is $100.

Hole signs are $100.

The team Price Includes range balls, goody bag, green fee, cart, and a 19th hole celebration.

There will be prizes for 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, car or cash hole-in-one, closest to pin, longest and drive. There will be door prizes, too.

Proceeds from the event fund local student scholarships. This year’s tournament goal is $10,000.

Mayor Randall Wise served as Niceville’s mayor from 1971 until his death on January 20. At the time of his death, Mayor Wise reportedly was the longest-serving mayor in Florida and the fourth-longest current serving mayor in the United States. (Dennis Gilson)
