NICEVILLE, Fla — Beginning Thursday, pharmacies at each of the seven Publix supermarket locations in Okaloosa County – including Niceville — will begin providing up to 125 COVID-19 vaccinations a day to Florida residents aged 65 and older, it was announced Tuesday.
The state of Florida is partnering with Publix to offer the vaccinations.
Vaccinations are by appointment only, while supplies last, and at no cost to the individual.
Appointments can be made online at publix.com/covidvaccine.
Individuals with health insurance should bring their insurance card to their scheduled appointment. Those without health insurance will need to provide their driver license or Social Security number.
