The Niceville Library is accepting pet food in place of monetary fines for overdue books during the month of September.
The pet food will benefit Pet Welfare, Alaqua Animal Welfare, and Feline Friends. Preferred brands include Friskies pate canned cat food, Science Diet Cat/Dog Food, Purina Kitten/Cat Chow, Pedigree Puppy Wet or Dry Food, Pedigree Adult, and Pedigree Small Bites Dry Food.
Please bring your sales receipt to receive credit for the exact amount of your purchase.
No fines? You can make a pet food donation anyways! A credit will be added to your Niceville Library account.
September is Library Card Sign-up Month. Snoopy is the honorary chair of the membership drive, and the inspiration for pet food for fines.
