Surveillance footage collected by deputies revealed two individuals attempting to break into locked vehicles in the same area as the reported burglaries. Investigators said they identified one suspect as Johnson, reportedly seen in the Inlet Beach video wearing a black long-sleeve hoodie with red lettering.

According to the WCSO, Johnson was arrested at his house in Panama City Beach. The WCSO said the holster to the stolen gun was located, but not the weapon itself.

Authorities suspect that Johnson and his alleged accomplice may be responsible for additional burglaries in Bay County, particularly while driving Johnson’s black Chevy Equinox. During incidents in Bay County, Johnson reportedly changes his attire, wearing a maroon sweatshirt, while the second suspect is described as wearing a dark zip-up hoodie with a white shirt underneath.
