SHALIMAR, Fla. — Sheriff Eric Aden has announced the release of a smartphone application for the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
The new app will serve as a new way for the OCSO to connect with residents and visitors, providing information quickly and efficiently to anyone with a smartphone.
“We wanted to take advantage of this efficient way to reach and serve the public and there’s no better way than through their smartphones, which everyone typically has readily available to them all the time,” said Aden.
“If you want to see if someone has a warrant or who we’ve arrested in the past week, it’s all right there — with much, much, more.”
The app offers quick access to items of public interest and is easy to use.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office app is available for download for free in the App Store and Google Play by searching “Okaloosa County Sheriff”.
The OCSO smartphone app was developed by TheSheriffApp.com, a division of OCV, LLC which specializes in mobile app development for sheriff’s offices and public safety organizations across the country, according to the OCSO.
