The Teacher Education Department at Northwest Florida State College held a pinning ceremony Thursday, December 7, 2017, to recognize eight students who completed the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education Degree and one student who completed the Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Mathematics Degree.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education program successfully completed the professional certification exam for Elementary Education K-6 and are Reading and ESOL endorsed. The graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Mathematics program successfully completed the professional certification exam for Middle Grade Mathematics Grades 5-9.
Held in the Student Services Center, the pinning ceremony pays homage to graduates, and to the guidance, support and encouragement provided to graduates by faculty and staff, supervising teachers, family and friends throughout the teacher education program. The pin symbolizes a steadfast commitment to developing the full potential of all learners and to the education profession.
