State Road 390 Widening Project. (Florida Department of Transportation)
BAY COUNTY, Fla. – Paving work will cause intermittent closures of the State Road (S.R.) 390 between New York and Indiana avenues tonight.
Beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, and continuing to 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 30 motorists will encounter intermittent closures between New York and Indiana avenues as crews transition traffic to the recently completed westbound lanes.
Traffic at the S.R. 390 /S.R. 77 intersection will also be impacted.
Drivers can expect periodic lane restrictions to occur prior to the shift as workers prepare for the transitions.
Law enforcement personnel and traffic flaggers will be available both nights to safely direct traffic.
All activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
