NICEVILLE, Fla. — On Thursday, the City of Niceville will dedicate a portion of Partin Drive/State Road 285 in memory of former Niceville Mayor Randall Wise.
Mayor Wise, who served from 1971 to 2020, devoted nearly 49 years to Niceville. He’s remembered as the 50th longest-serving mayor in American history, leaving an indelible mark on the community.
The portion of the highway to be named in Wise’s honor is from State Road 20 to College Boulevard.
Join city leaders and the Wise family to celebrate this local icon on October 6 at 8 a.m. at the Intersection of State Road 285 and College Boulevard. Refreshments follow in the city council chambers.
