The Niceville Public Landing is the centerpiece of the 340-acre Niceville community redevelopment area. Established in 2012, the district includes the Old Settlement of the City of Niceville located on Boggy Bayou, State Road 20 area from Niceville High School to State Road 85, and State Road 85 to Niceville’s western city limits.

In addition to the landing, potential features in the redevelopment area include a crosswalk connecting the Turkey Creek Recreation area with historic downtown, a Turkey Creek amphitheater, tennis courts at Turkey Creek, and enhancing streetscapes on John Sims Parkway and throughout the redevelopment area

City officials are hopeful the project will rejuvenate the area, making it a focal point of our community.
