Niceville man charged in alleged domestic violence-related incident

NICEVILLE, Fla. — A Niceville man has been arrested for domestic violence-related aggravated battery causing bodily harm.

Ian Weisberg, 47, was arrested by deputies on Monday morning, said the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO).

According to the OCSO, deputies were called to Weisberg’s Baywind Drive home Monday around 6:20 a.m. They said they found a female with major swelling and bruising across her face and head and what appeared to be blood from an eyelid.  

She told deputies she was pushed multiple times and thrown to the ground by her hair, the OCSO said.

Weisberg was taken into custody and booked into the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview.
