Principal Charlie Marello shared the school’s pride in their achievements, noting, “When I got the call that we won both, that’s unprecedented at Niceville High School.”

Diehl ranked first in his class of 475 with a 4.77 weighted GPA, serves as captain of the boys’ lacrosse team, and has led the team to state playoff appearances. He is also dedicated to service, raising $5,000 for the nonprofit Bed 4 Me.

Diehl is pursuing a congressional nomination to attend a United States service academy.

Broutin, an All-State volleyball player with multiple school records, pairs her athletic success with academic excellence, maintaining a 4.77 weighted GPA. She plans to continue her academic and athletic career at the collegiate level.
