Gulf Coast Burger Co.
Foodies Rejoice! New restaurants and food-centric events abound making 2019 the most “craveable” year yet for Destin’s award-winning lifestyle center, Destin Commons.
Restaurants opening in 2019 at Destin Commons include Gulf Coast Burger Co., Another Broken Egg Cafe, Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, and Destination Little Donuts.
Other recent additions to the center include energizing new events such as the Mac & Cheese Festival benefiting the Boys and Girls Club, and Parrot Head Chili Cook Off benefiting The Arc of the Emerald Coast.
If you ask Destin Commons Senior Director of Marketing & Leasing, Heather Ruiz, bringing new experiences to the lifestyle center is all part of a bigger vision.
“To those that live here and visit our area, Destin Commons is so much more than a shopping center, it is a place to gather with your friends and family,” she said.
When you start with the finest ingredients, the dishes that follow are fresh and creative. They describe them as delicious twists on classic dishes. This passion for distinctive flavors is what makes Another Broken Egg Cafe so unique. Since 1996, when the original Broken Egg Cafe opened in Old Mandeville, La., it’s been their passion to create exceptional dishes for breakfast, brunch, and lunch that are “craveably” delicious with an artisanal flair. Opening early summer 2019.
Designer Donuts! Destination Little Donuts offers fresh donuts made throughout the day, then topped to order. Kolaches – Destination Style, breakfast sandwiches, local coffee by Amavida Coffee – 2018 Roaster of the year. Locally made desserts by Liv Pie. Gluten-free donuts with advanced reservation and gluten-free bakery goods. Disney’s Dole Whip, Gelato, Espresso, Dochos and more. Now open.
The Best Burgers on the Beach are coming to Destin Commons. Family owned with the original location in Panama City Beach, Gulf Coast Burger Co. is known for its gourmet burgers and Cat 5 shakes (you get to keep the jar). Opening Spring 2019.
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen is a family-style restaurant that offers guests an interactive atmosphere to make memories with friends and family at the dinner table, just like if they were at Paula’s house. Opening early March 2019.
Destin Commons, featuring over 90 stores and restaurants, is anchored by Bass Pro Shops; Belk; H&M; Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl & Grill; the largest Lush in Florida; and AMC Destin, a 14-screen movie theatre. The outdoor lifestyle center also offers 70,000 square feet of Class A office space, free Wi-Fi access, interactive pop fountain, and the soon to be revealed Luckey Climber children’s play area. Destin Commons is located at the corner of US Highway 98 and the Mid Bay Bridge Road. For additional information, call (850) 337-8700, or visit www.DestinCommons.com.
