National Drive Electric event to return to Destin Commons

National Drive Electric Week, September 8-16, 2018, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.

For the third year, National Drive Electric Week is celebrated at Destin Commons with a one day event presented by Nissan LEAF, the exclusive automotive sponsor of National Drive Electric Week. The National Drive Electric event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is expected to be larger than previous years.

National Drive Electric Week, September 8-16, 2018, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Those interested in “going electric” are highly encouraged to attend.
