OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla.- There’s a new, non-stop air service coming from Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP) to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS).
Sun Country Airlines is launching the new service on April 12, 2023, Sun Country has announced.
Destin-Fort Walton Beach will be Sun Country’s 11th nonstop destination in Florida from the Twin Cities, the airline said.
“This partnership is so meaningful for Okaloosa County,” said Mel Ponder, chairman of the Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners.
“Not only will destinations like Minneapolis/St. Paul become more accessible to residents, visitors can book spring travel now to experience our white sandy beaches and attractions throughout the County which make Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Florida a premier destination,” he said.
